Since I'm security guard, I was about to say since you're security, you could probably knock.
Since I'm a security guard.
I think they're forgetting what school was like, did anyone remember that casual teacher that used to, whenever she came onto school, that relief teacher came, you and your friends would see her and go, oh we're gonna make her cry, and then she's standing in front of the class with a bit of chalk and her hands would be shaking, and you go, you're never getting married are you miss, never gonna happen for you, then she gets back to a 1967 Volkswagen Beetle, she'd be crying over the steering wheel, just why don't they like me, let's give that kind of gun and see how things work out, and then they go, oh we'll answer to that, we'll just add more guns, they go we'll put an armed security guard at every school across America, yeah that'll work out, the average security guard in America earns $16 an hour, not a lot of wiggle room to be a fucking hero, someone comes onto the school and and you've got Kevin, now I'm sure Kevin's shit hot at Call of Duty, but it might not fucking cut it ladies and gentlemen, now I understand that when I'm doing this joke in this room, 50% of you agree with me, 50% of you don't agree with me, and I do respect the people who don't agree with me, don't think I don't, uh the 50% that don't agree with me, 20% of those people are smart enough to realize this is a comedy show and it's not to be taken seriously, and they're laughing along because it's just funny jokes right, and then the next 20% are sort of phased out a little bit and looking around going,
Let's give that kind of gun and see how things work out." And then they go, "Oh, well, answer to that, we'll just add more guns." They go, "We'll put an armed security guard at every school across America." Yeah, that'll work out.
Tonight, 13 hours into deliberations, jurors said they have reached a verdict on four of the five criminal counts against Sean Combs, but said they're stuck on the racketeering conspiracy charge. The judge instructing them to keep going. The eight man, four woman jury sent a note saying there are unpersuadable opinions on both sides. The note said the jury is prepared to release a verdict on the two counts of sex trafficking and two counts of transportation for prostitution. When the note came in Combs, who was denied all charges, looks stricken. He sat in a chair with his chin resting on his palm. Defense attorney standing in a huddle around him. At one point, Combs wiped his eyes. His mother, sons and twin daughters sat stone faced in the second row. Racketeering conspiracy requires jurors to find Combs led a criminal enterprise and agreed to commit at least two of eight underlying crimes like arson, where prosecutors allege he jealously ordered the fire bombing of rapper Kid Cudi's car or bribery, where they say he tried to pay off a hotel security guard after surveillance cameras captured him attacking Cassie Ventura. The judge told jurors, I ask at this time that you keep deliberating. He reminded them of their duty to consult with one another and to deliberate with a view to reaching an agreement, adding they should not hesitate to change an opinion when convinced that it is erroneous. So let's get right back to Aaron Petersky live at the courthouse tonight. Aaron again, as you've reported, the jury at this hour says it's reached an agreement on four counts, the charges of sex trafficking and transportation for purposes of prostitution. But again, as you have reported here, they are stuck on the racketeering conspiracy charge. So what happens now? And what are legal observers saying tonight? A day and a half in a partial verdict on four of five counts against Sean Combs. What could this mean for Combs based on his demeanor alone, David, he didn't seem to think this is going very well for him, but there really is no way to know for sure. And it could cut either way. Honestly, at this point, we do know there is consensus on four of the five counts. So the jury is working together. Maybe they're stuck on what it means to be part of a criminal conspiracy. The jury is going to come back. Start fresh tomorrow, David. After more than 13 hours of deliberations so far, David Petersky leading us off on the breaking news tonight, Aaron, thank you. In the meantime, we turn out of the dangerous storms, damaging winds across much of the northeast late today and right into tonight. Flight cancellations and delays in Washington D. C.
